Not a door.
A wall that disappears.

Bi-fold patio doors from Infinity from Marvin don't just open, they transform the relationship between your interior and your yard. Panels fold neatly to one or both sides, creating an unobstructed opening of up to 20 feet. When they're open, you have a space. When they're closed, you have a window wall.

In Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, and Danville, where summer evenings are worth opening up to, that distinction matters. And unlike vinyl or aluminum alternatives, Infinity's fiberglass construction holds its seal, its shape, and its finish through the Tri-Valley's full range of weather, 100°F summers, cold wet winters, and everything in between.

This is not a door you install and maintain. It's a door you install and forget.

Key Benefits of Bi-Fold Infinity from Marvin:
  • Indoor-outdoor living– Create a seamless transition between your interior and outdoor space. No threshold barriers, no visual interruption.
  • Seal integrity built for wide temperature swings – Fiberglass expands at nearly the same rate as the glass it holds, meaning seals that hold through 100°F summers and cold wet winters.
  • No repainting. No refinishing. – Infinity's factory-applied ColorPlus finish is applied before the door leaves the plant. It outperforms any field-painted finish.
  • Title 24 compliant glass packages – Multiple glass options engineered to meet California's strict energy standards without sacrificing light or views.
  • Resale value – A premium bi-fold system is a visible, high-impact upgrade that serious buyers notice and value.

Fiberglass isn't just better
than vinyl. It's a different product.

Vinyl expands and contracts at nearly three times the rate of the glass it holds. In a climate with significant temperature swings, that movement is what causes seals to fail, frames to warp, and panels to stick.

Infinity's fiberglass frames expand at nearly the same rate as the glass they hold. That matched expansion rate is why fiberglass doors seal tighter, operate smoother, and perform longer than any vinyl alternative, and why we install Infinity from Marvin exclusively.

  • Expansion matched to glass — seals that hold over decades, not just years
  • EHigher strength-to-weight ratio — thinner frames, more glass, better sightlines
  • IFactory ColorPlus finish — resists fading, chipping, and moisture absorption
  • 120-year Marvin engineering pedigree behind every Infinity product

No Surprises.

Here's What the Process Looks Like.

From first contact to final walkthrough, the average door replacement project with Custom Exteriors is straightforward. Here's what to expect.

1. Schedule a consultation
A design consultant visits your home, reviews the doors and openings, explains your options, and answers questions, at no cost and with no obligation. We never use high-pressure tactics.
2. Visit the showroom
(optional but recommended) Our Pleasanton showroom at 2142 Rheem Drive has full-size Infinity from Marvin displays. You can see the weight difference, feel the frame quality, and compare finishes before committing.
3. Custom order and scheduling
Doors are ordered to your specs once you decide. Your project manager confirms the installation schedule and keeps you informed of any lead time changes before they affect your timeline.
4. Installation by our crew
Our AAMA Certified Master Installers handle the full installation. They confirm lead-safe procedures before starting on homes built before 1978, clean up completely, and do a final walkthrough with you before leaving.

What Our Clients Are Saying

"Loved working with Custom Exteriors. Very responsive to inquiries. Precise in their measurements, estimate and timeframe for completion. Highly recommend them."

Brian I.

"We have used Custom Exteriors on many occasions over the years.  We are in Lafayette and love that they service this area.  We think the work is fantastic, both for windows and doors.  We had Anlin sliding doors (2) and a back door installed in May 2021.  We had a question about how the doors were locking and the next day the owner himself (Jeff) made a personal appearance and solved all our issues in about 10 minutes! Talk about customer service!  We look forward to using Custom Exteriors for many years into the future."

Dave A.

"We had Custom Exteriors install a sliding glass door in our bedroom. Everyone from sales to the installers were professional, kind, punctual, respectful. We love the quality of the door. The team that installed to care to clean up afterwards. They also went above and beyond to try and match our wood trim. I highly recommend this company."
